Joseph Trapanese is a composer 和 music producer known for integrating his extensive classical training with his skill producing electronic music. He has crafted uniquely hybrid 和 inventive scores for 特隆:遗产 (with Daft Punk), 遗忘 (它), 这次袭击 (with Mike Shinoda), No One Will Save You, 北极, Straight Outta Compton (Black Reel award, 2015), The 发散 Series’ second 和 third installments 叛乱分子 和 忠实的, The Greatest Showman (with John Debney), 的巫师, 影与骨, 和 interactive projects for Disney Animation, EA, Lucasfilm, 和 Ubisoft. Trapanese’s choral composition New Collective Consciousness, commissioned 和 performed by Tonality, was featured as the opening of Bjork’s 2022 west coast concert tour, 和 addresses the climate crisis through intense harmonies 和 dissonances, striking choral textures, 和 unique text drawn from Greta Thunberg’s 2019 speech at the United Nations.
Trapanese has conducted the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, AUKSO波兰, 和 numerous festival 和 studio orchestras around the world. He completed his bachelor’s degree in composition at the Manhattan School of Music, 和 later an M.A. in Music for Visual Media at UCLA, with support from the Henry Mancini fund.
